Unless otherwise specifically agreed in writing at the time of booking The Stables
Holiday Cottage is let on the following Terms and Conditions:
- Provisional
bookings are subject to receipt of a deposit within 7 days of booking equal to one third of your booking’s value.
- The
balance of your booking’s value, plus a breakage/damage deposit* equal to 10% of your booking’s value, is to be
paid not less than two calendar months prior to your scheduled arrival.
- In the
case of provisional bookings made within two calendar months of arrival, receipt within 7 days of the full booking value,
plus a breakage/damage deposit* equal to 10% of your booking’s value, is required.
- In the
event you should need to cancel your booking after payment, the value of your booking (less a £25 administration fee) will
be refunded (a) if the cancellation is made 3 calendar months or more before the start date booked or (b) if the Property
Owner is able to re-let the property. If the property cannot be re-let then the payment will not be refunded. You are advised
to consider a special holiday cancellation insurance policy if you do not already have an appropriate policy.
- *Breakage/damage
deposits (less any appropriate deductions) will be refunded by cheque within 14 days of your departure.
- Your
cottage will be cleaned and ready for you by 3pm on the day of your arrival, and should be vacated not later than 10am on
the day of your departure so that it may be cleaned ready for arriving guests.
- The
rental is fully inclusive of duvets, bed linen, towels, gas, electricity and water.
- STRICTLY
no smoking and no candles are allowed in the cottage
- If your
arrival is delayed, please advise the Property Owner so that alternative arrangements may be made.
- If you
fail to arrive by midday on the day after the start date and you do not advise us of a late arrival, the Property Owner may
treat the booking as cancelled by you.
- The
Property Owner is entitled to refuse to hand over to you, or to repossess, the cottage if he reasonably believes that any
damage is likely to be caused by you or your party or can repossess the accommodation if actual damage has been caused.
- You
cannot allow more people to stay in the cottage than was agreed when the property was booked without the Property Owner’s
agreement.
- If it
is found that more pets than agreed at the time of booking have been brought along, the Property Owner or his Agent
can refuse to hand over the keys, or can repossess the property.
- Circumstances
in 11,12 and 13 above will be treated as a cancellation and it will be at the discretion of the Property Owner whether to
make a refund of any of the pre-payment received.
- You
must allow the Property Owner or his Agents access at any reasonable time during the holiday.
- The holiday contract between you and the Property Owner is subject to English Law.
- You
must be 18 years or over when you book your holiday.
- On booking
you acknowledge that no liability can be accepted for any business losses howsoever suffered or incurred by you.
- The
Property Owner shall have no liability to you for the death or personal injury to you or any member of your party.
- You
must take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property and no liability to you is accepted in respect of damage
to, or loss of, such property.
- Please
telephone for advice if your mobility is restricted.
- You agree to keep the accommodation clean and tidy, and leave the cottage in a similar
condition
