Where we are

Our beautiful cottage is situated in the rural hamlet of Hoole Bank, in Hoole Village just some 2 miles from the city of Chester and adjacent to the M53 Motorway. Chester is full of history and there's lots to do and see in the area whether you come for equestrian activities, sightseeing or a walking holiday. The bustling cities of Liverpool and Manchester are less than an hours' drive away as are the Welsh hills, snowdonia and the North Wales coast.  

The accomodation

Our cottage is a complete re-build on the foundations of what was originally the milking parlour of a dairy farm. It is single storey and comprises an entrance porch, double bedroom, open plan kitchen / lounge with quality M&S double sofa bed and a wardrobe facility. We can accommodate up to 4 people plus baby or small child in a cot / ‘Z’ type bed in the bedroom. The cottage has everything you'd expect of a modern, new facility:

• Gas central heating and double glazing, beautiful tiled floors,
• Widescreen TV, Video player, DVD player and Radio / CD Player in the lounge, 
• Fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, cooker hood, fridge freezer and microwave,
• Lovely bathroom with fitted furniture and under-tile heating to keep your feet warm on those colder autumn / winter days,
• A good size bedroom with double bed and space for a child's bed or cot.

Please note that smoking is not allowed in the cottage.

We will accept well behaved and well managed pets.

Bring your horses!

 Yes, bring your horses (up to two) with you if you can’t bear to leave them at home or if you’re coming to Chester / Cheshire for an equine event and want somewhere more comfortable to stay than your horsebox.

We have two 12 ft x10 ft stables available for visiting horses in our barn (along with two stables for our own horses), 4 acres of paddocks for turnout grazing and a sand filled exercise menage. There's great hacking on the lanes around us and you can even hack down a bridleway through Chester zoo!
